Tosheo / Privacy Policy

A clear view
of your data.

What this website handles, what the demonstrations keep on your device, and the choices that stay with you.

Your story is not a form submission until you choose to send it.

The pilot form sends your application to our team by email, where it is retained for review. The prepared episode demo keeps your idea in your browser. We use Google Analytics to measure website activity without sending it your form answers.

01

Who this policy is for

This policy describes personal information handled in connection with the Tosheo website, operated by Tosheo Labs Private Limited. It covers visitors, people exploring the demonstrations, pilot applicants, and people who choose to contact us.

Tosheo is currently in focused validation. A future creator account or production pilot may involve additional processing. We will explain that processing before collecting information for those purposes and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

02

What happens in the website demonstrations

The greenlight composer on the home page. Everything you type or pick there - the brief, the production shape, the aspect ratio, the language, the episode count and the approval mode - stays in your browser while you work. The reading shown beside it, counting characters, locations and approximate shots, is produced by code running on your own device: it is local text analysis, not a plan, not a price, and it involves no AI service and no request to us.

That changes only when you choose to continue. If you enter your email address and submit, we send that address together with your brief and the options you picked to our team by email, so that a production can be opened for you. We do not store it in a database on this website. You are then taken to our product at app.tosheo.ai, which is a separate service with its own account and its own terms.

Reference files are never uploaded. If you add references to the composer, the files stay on your device. Only their file names are included in the email you send us, so we know what to ask you for later.

The free episode box. It selects one of five prepared fictional episode examples. The story idea you type there is used only as an on-screen reference while the page is open. Our application code does not send it to an AI service or a server, save it in browser storage, or use it to alter the prepared script.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information in the composer, the episode box, or the application form. Your browser or extensions may independently offer autofill or retain form information according to their own settings.

03

The Founding Creator Pilot application

The application form on the home page is live. When you submit it, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, creator role, primary language, city or region, a link to your portfolio or published work, your story or series concept, your intended audience and publishing platform, your reasons for telling the story across multiple episodes, and your confirmation that you own or control the story.

How it reaches us. The submission is sent from our own server as a single email to our support address. It is not written to a separate application database or passed to a form-handling service. Our hosting and email providers process the submission to deliver it, and our email provider stores that message in the ordinary course of delivering it, in the same way as any email you send us directly.

Why we collect it. To assess your application, to reply to you about it, and to plan the pilot cohort. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use your story concept to train any model.

Your story remains yours. Submitting a concept grants us no licence to it. We read it to assess the application. We will not produce, publish, or share it without a separate written agreement with you.

How long we keep it. We retain applications for as long as the pilot selection is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, so that we can revisit strong applications for a later cohort. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.

Automated checks. To limit automated abuse the form includes a hidden field that people never see, records how long the form was open before submission, and counts recent submissions per internet connection. No decision about you is made on this basis; it only determines whether a submission is accepted for us to read.

To ask for a copy of your application, to correct it, or to have it deleted, write to [email protected] from the address you applied with.

04

Information you choose to share

If you send us an email, we receive the sender address, the information you include, and ordinary email metadata. This may include your name, role, region, a portfolio link, and the subject of your enquiry.

When you submit the contact form, the website validates your name, email address, subject and message, then sends them to our team through our email provider. Entries remain in your browser until you submit. Correspondence is retained in our email inbox, not a separate website database. A success message means the email service accepted the enquiry for delivery. If sending fails, you can retry or use your own email application; your email provider’s privacy practices also apply.

We use correspondence to respond to your question, assess a requested conversation, manage the relationship, and address rights or privacy concerns. Please avoid sending full unpublished scripts, identity documents, payment details, or information about other people that is unnecessary for the enquiry.

05

Website delivery and technical information

Requests to this website are handled by the hosting and delivery infrastructure. Those services may process information such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages, device or browser headers, and security or error logs to deliver and protect the site.

If access to the hosted preview requires sign-in, the hosting provider manages authentication and related session information. Tosheo’s application code does not implement its own visitor accounts. Provider-held information is also subject to the provider’s own privacy terms.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and how people move from exploring a prepared episode to applying for the pilot. It can collect page URLs, referral information, browser and device details, and interaction events. Our events record preview opens, pilot-link clicks, application starts, submission error categories, and applications accepted for email delivery. They do not include the names, email addresses, portfolio links, story ideas, or other answers entered into our forms.

Google processes this analytics information. See Google Analytics’ data collection information for details. Our website code does not add advertising pixels or send application answers to Google Analytics.

06

Cookies, local storage, and fonts

The Tosheo application does not use cookies or local storage to save pilot-form entries or production-demo decisions. Google Analytics can use first-party cookies, including cookies beginning with _ga, to distinguish visits and sessions. Hosting and authentication services may use necessary cookies or similar technologies to maintain access or security.

DM Sans and Manrope are self-hosted. Your browser downloads the font files from the same website infrastructure as the page, rather than making a font request to Google Fonts.

You can manage cookies and site data in your browser. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from using the episode preview or submitting a pilot application. Restricting essential hosting cookies may affect access to a private preview.

07

Service providers and disclosures

Hosting, infrastructure, email, and analytics providers may process information to deliver their services. Their processing may take place in countries other than the one where you live. We do not claim that all website or enquiry data is stored only in India.

We may disclose relevant information where required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect rights and address misuse. We do not sell personal information collected through enquiries, and we have not connected the episode demo or pilot application to AI generation or model-training services.

Any future processing of creator assets by AI providers will be explained in the applicable pilot notice and agreement before those assets are collected for production.

08

Retention and security

We retain pilot applications in our email inbox for the period described in the application section above. For other enquiries, we aim to retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain an ongoing relationship, or meet applicable recordkeeping and legal obligations.

Analytics retention depends on our Google Analytics property settings and Google’s service policies. Hosting and email providers apply their own operational retention schedules. We have not published a fixed retention period for their logs. We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and service, but no website, email channel, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

09

Your choices and privacy requests

You can explore the website without entering anything into the demo form. You can choose what to include in an enquiry, decline to submit the contact form, and manage your browser’s storage and autofill settings.

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access, correction, or deletion, withdraw a previously given consent where relevant, or raise a concern. We will consider and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. We may need proportionate information to verify a request and may retain information where a legal obligation requires it.

Where available under applicable law, you may also raise a concern with the relevant supervisory authority. This policy does not limit any rights you have under that law.

10

Adult creators and children’s information

The founding creator pilot and its enquiry flows are intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not intentionally solicit children’s personal information through the website.

If you believe that a child’s information has been sent to us, please contact us with enough detail to locate the correspondence. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in your report.

11

Policy updates and contact

We will update this page if the website’s actual data handling changes, including before introducing creator accounts, payments, or production uploads. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.

The date above identifies this version. Questions about this policy can be raised through our contact page.
