By the time anything renders, every framing, action, and sound cue has been decided and approved. Rendering is the last step, not the first.

Two orders of operation

The order you do things in decides what a mistake costs. This is the entire economic argument for a pipeline, and it is not a matter of taste:

What actually happens to produce one episode

The episode starts as a script, written with Tosheo or imported from your own, and passes through the following before a single frame is rendered:

  • 01 · Script What the characters say and do. You approve this whether you wrote it or Tosheo proposed it.
  • 02 · Scene plan The episode broken into scenes, each with a location and a purpose.
  • 03 · Shot list Each scene broken into beats: framing, action, dialogue, and sound direction.
  • 04 · Storyboard The visual pass. This is where the episode becomes a concrete plan you can judge.
  • 05 · Continuity and rights checks The new material compared against approved references and the story record, with contradictions surfaced.
  • 06 · Production estimate What this render will require, presented before it is authorized.
  • 07 · Render Generation runs against the approved plan, with accepted references held constant.
  • 08 · Correction and final cut Focused per-shot corrections, then your approval, then export.

What a single beat has to specify

A beat is the smallest planned unit. It is not a sentence of description, it is five decisions:

  • Framing. What the shot sees and how tight. In vertical this is most of the blocking.
  • Action. What physically happens, described as behaviour rather than adjectives.
  • Dialogue. What is said, and what is deliberately withheld.
  • Sound. Planned with the shot, because sound carries what a short runtime cannot state.
  • Continuity note. What this beat must remain consistent with, checked against everything approved so far.

The cost of catching it late

Fictional example
A costume contradiction, found twice

Episode four opens with Anaya wearing the rust dupatta. In episode three it was torn on the platform fence, on screen.

  • Caught at storyboard. The continuity check flags the costume state against the record. The beat is amended in the plan. Cost: nothing.
  • Caught after render. Every shot in the opening scene featuring the dupatta is wrong and must be re-rendered.
  • Caught after release. Unfixable. The audience has seen it, and the tear was a plot point in episode three.
  • Why it happens at all. Costume state changes on screen. Unless the change is recorded, the next episode reverts to the approved reference, which shows the dupatta intact.

This is the whole reason continuity runs before generation. The same error costs nothing, a re-render, or the episode, depending only on when it is found.

Correcting a finished episode

When a shot comes back wrong, you request a correction against that shot. The design goal is to replace the smallest possible unit while preserving accepted references and neighbouring shots, so a single bad take does not cost you the episode.

Rendering is authorized, not automatic.

You see a production estimate before each render and decide whether to proceed. Tosheo does not promise unlimited generation, and pilot pricing depends on episode length, production requirements, quality level, and approved rendering costs. Questions creators ask

Can I generate an episode in one step?

No. An episode moves through script, scene plan, shot list, storyboard, continuity checks, cost approval, render, and correction, with your approval at each major stage. That sequence is what keeps episodes consistent with each other.

Can I import my own script?

Yes. You can bring your own script, or develop one with Tosheo. You approve what the characters say and do either way.

What if one shot is wrong?

Corrections are requested per shot, with the intent of replacing that shot while preserving accepted work rather than regenerating the whole episode.

Why does the storyboard matter so much?

Because it is the last stage where a change is free. A contradiction or a bad framing decision caught at storyboard costs nothing, and the same problem caught after rendering costs a re-render.

What is specified for each beat?

Framing, action, dialogue, sound direction, and a continuity note recording what that beat must stay consistent with.
