Who is this Claude course for, and who is it not for?

It is for people whose work involves a lot of reading and writing: policy and compliance officers, researchers, consultants, writers, legal and operations staff, and managers who review long reports. It suits anyone whose team has adopted Claude and who wants to move beyond quick questions.

This course does not cover the Claude API, Claude for developers or building with Anthropic's tools in code; those belong to the optional Code track, in the build AI apps and AI agents development courses. If your company has standardised on ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, choose that course instead, since the features and the menus differ.

What will I learn in the Claude course?

Six modules, each tied to a kind of work Claude is often used for. Feature descriptions come from Anthropic's help centre, and availability can depend on your Claude plan.

1. Briefing Claude well

Giving role, audience, source material and the form of answer you want, so a long reply is still the right reply.

2. Working with long documents

Summarising, comparing two versions and pulling out obligations or decisions, then checking each point against the page it came from.

3. Projects

Projects are self-contained workspaces with their own chat history, knowledge (documents and files) and instructions. You build one for a recurring piece of work.

4. Artifacts

Artifacts are standalone pieces such as a document or a small tool that open beside the chat, where you can edit, return to and share them. You learn when to ask for one.

5. Research with web search

When web search is turned on, Claude includes citations in its answers. You practise opening and checking them rather than trusting the link.

6. Safe and shared use

What to keep out of Claude, how sharing a project with colleagues works on Team and Enterprise plans, and following your company's rules.

How does the personalised path adapt to me?

The diagnostic asks you to get Claude to summarise a short document and then to find one point it got wrong. If you briefed it clearly and caught the error, you start further along, at projects and artifacts. If not, modules one and two come first.

Examples follow your role. A compliance officer compares two versions of a supplier code of conduct; a consultant turns interview notes into a findings memo; an operations lead builds a project for onboarding new contractors.

What do I practise?

Tasks are done in Claude with made-up material. One example from module two: you are given two versions of a fictional tenancy agreement for Millbrook Studios, a made-up design studio renting a small office. You ask Claude to list every change between them that affects cost, notice or liability, then check each one against the clauses.

The rubric, visible from the start, checks that your prompt asked Claude to quote the clause for each change, that you found the change it missed in the break clause, that you did not accept any change without reading the clause, and that your final list is in plain English for a non-lawyer.

How long does the Claude course take?

Each lesson takes 10 to 15 minutes. Because tasks use short practice documents, they fit in that time even in the long-document module. The length of your whole path depends on the diagnostic and your pace, so we do not quote hours.

What do I get at the end?

You finish with a final practical assessment: a realistic document task in Claude, with your checks shown. Passing earns a recognised certificate. It is not an accredited qualification and is not issued or endorsed by Anthropic.

How much does the Claude course cost?

Every Tosheo.ai plan includes the Claude course; your Claude account is separate. The Individual plan costs USD 79 per month or USD 790 per year. The Team plan costs USD 189 per month or USD 1,890 per year for up to 3 members, and further members are USD 49 per month or USD 490 per year each. Groups of 25 or more qualify for volume pricing. Begin with the 7-day free trial; no credit card is required.
