Who is this agentic AI course for, and who is it not for?
It is for people whose tools now offer an agent mode or a 'do this for me' option and who are unsure how far to trust it. Operations coordinators, executive assistants, analysts, account managers and team leads are typical learners. You should already be comfortable with an ordinary AI chat assistant; if not, take the generative AI course first.
This course itself is not about building agents with code, agent frameworks or APIs, and you will not write Python here. Those skills are in the optional Code track, in the AI agents development course, which covers agent SDKs, tool calling and MCP from the beginning. This course is professional foundations: understanding what agents do, delegating well and keeping a human in charge of the result. Neither is a full-time bootcamp or a degree.
What will I learn in the agentic AI course?
The six modules follow the life of a delegated task, from deciding whether to delegate at all to signing off the finished work.
1. What an AI agent is
How an agent differs from a chat reply: it plans steps, uses tools such as search, files or apps, and acts before you see the final answer.
2. Agent features in mainstream tools
What the agent options in tools you may already have actually do, such as Agent Mode in Excel for multi-step workbook tasks, and why the options you see depend on your licence and your admin.
3. Writing a delegation brief
Goal, inputs, boundaries, stopping point and what to hand back, written so the agent cannot drift.
4. Permissions and data limits
Which files, accounts and actions an agent may touch, and why sending, paying, deleting or publishing should need your approval.
5. Reviewing what the agent did
Reading the steps, sources and changes, checking a sample against the original, and undoing work that went wrong.
6. When not to use an agent
Tasks with legal, financial or personal consequences, tasks that are quicker by hand, and tasks where you cannot check the result.
How does the personalised path adapt to me?
The diagnostic gives you a short delegation brief to improve and asks what you would check in an agent's output. Learners who already write tight briefs move on to permissions and review; those who tend to say 'sort this out' spend longer on module three.
Examples come from your role. An executive assistant works on a travel research task; a finance analyst on reconciling two lists in a workbook; a marketing lead on gathering competitor launch dates from public pages.
What do I practise?
You practise delegating and reviewing, in that order. One example from module five: an agent was asked to tidy a fictional event supplier list for Larkspur Events, a made-up 12-person events firm. You get the original list, the agent's tidied version and its step log. Your task is to find what changed without being asked: in this case it merged two different suppliers with similar names and deleted a contact it judged a duplicate.
The visible rubric checks whether you compared against the original rather than trusting the summary, found both unrequested changes, wrote the correction needed and added one boundary to the brief that would have prevented it.
How long does the agentic AI course take?
Lessons last 10 to 15 minutes, and agent tasks are kept small enough to finish inside that time. The number of lessons on your path depends on your diagnostic and your pace, so we do not promise a set number of hours.
What do I get at the end?
The path ends with a final practical assessment in which you write a delegation brief, run it with an agent feature you have access to, and review the result. A pass earns a recognised certificate, which records practical, marked work rather than an accredited qualification.
How much does the agentic AI course cost?
The agentic AI course is part of every Tosheo.ai plan, so you pay for the plan, not the course. Individual: USD 79 a month or USD 790 a year. Team: USD 189 a month or USD 1,890 a year, covering up to 3 members, plus USD 49 a month or USD 490 a year for each member after that, and volume pricing from 25 members. Try it first with a 7-day free trial; no credit card is asked for.
